a. They show The Portrait Miniatures in The Treasury. The Museum´s collection has more than 5.200 miniatures. It is exceptional and the largest in the world, but now they are showing more than 600 of them.

b. Swedish Grace, showing Swedish art and design from 1920s.

The Spring Salon 2022 is a dear contentious and an old tradition since 1921. This year the critics say “The best exhibition in many years!” from 4.093 applications to finally 2.962 different artists take part of the exhibition today.

In the new building, Exhibition until February 20th, of the painter Linn Fernström.

Opening hours: Monday 11-17 and FREE ENTRY, Tues- and Thursday: 11-20, Wednes-, Frid-Sunday 11-17.

A Jubilee Exhibition of Carl Fredrik Hill, 1849.1911. He was a Swedish painter and draftsman. He is known for the atmospheric landscapes and for his drawings of fantastical scenes he created after he became mentally ill in his late twenties.

Opening hours: Mon-Friday 10-18m, Saturday 12-16.

The exhition today is a about the photographer Dora Kallmus (1881-1963). She had a studio in Vienna and Paris. Kallmus adopted early the name Madame d´Ora. In front of her camera sat cultural personalities as Gustav Klimt, Pablo Picasso, Tamara Lempicka, Josephine Baker and Coco Chanel. D´Ora´s fashion photographs were published in the largest fashion magazines of the time.

Otherwise the garden of Carl Milles is always beautiful all year round!

Expedition Art, nine prominent contemporary artists – Lars Lerin, Dascha Esselius, Bigert & Bergström, Svenerik Jakobsson, Hanna Ljungh, Josef Bull, Sigrid Sandström and Johan Petterson. They are featured in this experimental and innovative exhibition linked to Swedish Polar Research Secretariat´s artists programme and residencies on the Arctic and Antarctic.

The other day I was out walking in the sun. I heard for the first time this year (sv talgoxe) the great tit singing! For me it means that SPRING is approaching! More light, longer days and warmer weather!
